Upload position data

 

Overview:

 
Once you have updated your data in the offline spreadsheet, and saved it to your local drive:
 
  • Log back into the insightpay RemData service
     
  • Select the “Upload position data” option from the "Data submission" menu item
     
  • Follow the prompts, as set out below:
 
Note:     Data must be copied to the insightpay spreadsheet for uploading. Data will not upload successfuly if it is contained in any spreadsheet other than the one originally downloaded from the insightpay site.
 
If your data does not load successfully, check that you are using the correct spreadsheet. If not, copy your data from your working spreadsheet and paste it into the insightpay provided one for uploading.

Identifies the Excel file containing the data

Click this button to browse your local and network discs to locate the saved Excel file containing your updated data

Click this button to upload the file selected and identifed in Step 2 above.
 
Once the file is loaded it will pass through a series of statistical and data checks to validate the data. Depending on the size of your file (i.e. the total number of records it contains) and whether or not there are any queries that are triggered by the validation checks there may be a delay before the data passes these intial steps and is passed for inclusion in the analysis.
 
Please do not attempt to reload your data while this process is being undertaken. If in doubt, please contact insightpay to check the status of your data.
